Refund Policy

At Hashirama Bonsai, we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality products and services. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, this Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, exchanges, or returns may be requested.
1. Eligibility for Refunds and Returns
1.1. Non-Living Products
Items such as pots, tools, and accessories are eligible for returns or exchanges if they are:
Unused and in their original packaging.
Returned within 14 days of delivery.
1.2. Bonsai Trees
Due to the perishable nature of live plants, bonsai trees are non-refundable and cannot be returned, except in the case of damage during delivery (see Section 4).
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for refunds:
Bonsai trees, except as noted in Section 4.
Custom or personalized orders.
Gift cards.
3. Refund Process
3.1. How to Request a Refund
Email us at info@hashiramabonsai.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photos (if applicable).
3.2. Refund Approval
Once we receive your request, we will review it and notify you of approval or rejection within 5 business days.
3.3. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days and issued to the original payment method.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective:
Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at info@hashiramabonsai.com.
Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging for assessment.
We may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund based on the circumstances.
5. Return Shipping
For non-living product returns, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item was damaged or incorrect.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
6. Exceptions
6.1. International Orders
Due to the complexity of international shipping and customs, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for international orders unless the product is damaged or defective upon arrival.
